To host a workshop you will want around 8-10 in attendance, so it is a good idea to invite more than this since not everyone will be able to come. For hosting the workshop you will receive a free catalog/idea book as well as hostess benefits (money in the catalog and free hostess sets) for parties reaching a minimum of $150 sales. I will demonstrate four cards and the techniques used to make them, and everyone will get to make and take home two of the cards. There is no charge for the workshop and all supplies will be provided. The goal is to have a great time and exceed your $150 party minimum to receive free items from Stampin’ Up!
Host a Private Card Class
An alternative to having a workshop is to host a card class. This is beneficial if you have recently hosted a workshop or would rather focus on making cards than ordering from the catalog.
There needs to be at least six people to hold a card class and we can have it at my home or yours. It will cost everyone $15 a person to make four cards to take home or FREE with a minimum order*. As the hostess you will receive a gift from me. There is no pressure to purchase anything from the catalog but if anyone would like to and places an order of $30 or more they can put their $15 class fee towards their order, essentially making the class free. Everyone will be required to bring their own adhesive but everything else will be provided. I can come up with the idea for the cards or if you have a theme in mind that is fine too (birthday cards, thank you’s, etc).
The setup and benefits are a little different in hosting a workshop or card class but it gives you the flexibility to determine what would work best for you and your guests. Either way you decide, you will enjoy a fun time being crafty with your close friends! Please contact me today to schedule a workshop or card class.
Host a Kit Class
Get a few of your family and friends and select one of our kits to put together. They need to be pre-paid in advance. Depending on the number of kits purchased, the host may earn free products. There are several kits to choose from, and if you have any questions please contact me.
