This past week I was able to be a part of an awesome project, Valentine’s for Veterans. A local Davison High School Teacher, Raina Palso, was named Teacher of the Year from the VFW Post #4087. She won a cash prize for this honor and decided to take the money and used it to purchase supplies from me. I designed the Valentine and prepped all the supplies. Last week I met her and forty students in the Media Center to make the 100 Valentines. I explained how to make the card in different steps and then we had an assembly line. The students did an awesome job stamping and assembling. I was so touched when they actually took the time to write personal messages inside. The 100 Valentines will be taken to the Saginaw VA to hospitalized veterans. Thank you Ms. Palso for letting me be a part of such an amazing project!
Attaching the Designer Series Paper down.
Using Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the heart to the circle and then to the card!
Here was a table of students writing out messages inside the Valentine’s.
Stamped envelopes and all. We used the Sealed with Love Stamp Set!
Here is the actual card that students created to send to the 100 veterans.
