Graduation season is here, and if you need a card for a grad in your life, I’ve got you covered! In this week’s live video, I’m sharing two sweet and simple graduation card ideas using some really fun Stampin’ Up! products. And the good news? These layouts work just as well for birthdays, so don’t go anywhere even if graduation isn’t on your list right now.
Card 1 uses the brand-new Balloon Festoon Bundle. Those big layered balloons are so fun, and the “You Did It” and “Happy Graduation” sentiments from the Reason to Celebrate Stamp Set are perfect for the occasion. I finished it off with the Wonderful Stars Puffy Stickers in black and white. Honestly, I bought three or four packs of these because I just can’t stop using them!
Card 2 is a fun fold that doubles as a gift card or money holder, because let’s be real, grads always need cash! I used the back side of the Modern Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper, which is gorgeous gold, black, and white. Perfect for a celebration! The Scalloped Blooms Dies add a beautiful layered edge, and I used the Alphabet À La Mode Dies to cut “GRAD” out of Basic Black cardstock with adhesive sheets. No messy glue! A bow of the Gold Striped Mesh Ribbon (just back in stock after being sold out!) and a few gold Adhesive-Backed Metallic Gems finish it off beautifully.
Heads up! Several of these products are on the Last Chance list, meaning they’re available while supplies last. The Alphabet À La Mode Dies are on sale right now, so it’s a great time to grab them if you’ve been on the fence!
