When the Occasions Catalog came out those Mini Egg Cartons caught my eye. I bought one box and then before they even arrived they were sold out and not ordable. So I just kept them and wasn’t sure what I would do with them. Once they were available again Easter was over and I was thinking I needed to do something “Spring” with them. I knew they would be a perfect project for my Stamp Camp!
I was looking on Pinterest and saw that Dawn Olchefske came out with this super cute idea doing a spring twist with the Mini Egg Cartons. I wanted to use the Special Reason Stamp Set because I bought it and had not used it yet. Here’s my take on it. I just made a belly band and then decorated it.
I decided I wanted to color them. How fun and easy! Use 20 drops of reinker into a Stampin’ Mist Spritzer and then fill up with Rubbing Alcohol. Spritz and allow to dry. So easy!
Inside I added flower seed packets to the lid and soil discs just like Dawn did. I even had left over Easter grass from my kids baskets. What a fun idea and gift. I can’t wait to give these away.
