Make a Quilted Christmas Card with the A Stitched Season Suite Collection
This week I’m showing you how I turned the A Stitched Season Suite Collection into a Christmas card that looks just like a little pieced quilt. I cut small squares from the designer series paper using a die, then used liquid glue to butt them up against each other so they’d have that stitched, sewn together look. Liquid glue is my favorite for this because it gives you a little wiggle room to nudge the pieces into place before it sets.
Once the little quilt panel was built, I stamped Merry Christmas to you and yours onto the label piece in Real Red ink, added a loop of the Stitched Ribbon behind it, and finished it off with a couple of the adhesive backed mini buttons. It is so cute in person, all those little stitched details really make it feel handmade.
The whole suite is one of my favorites this year. It has the designer series paper, the Stitched Stocking stamp set and dies, the Stitched Ribbon, and the mini buttons all coordinated together, so everything just works.
