Easy Halloween Card with the Oh My Fright Stamp Set

I’m getting ready to design a full Halloween class, so I pulled out the Frightfully Fun designer series paper for our first card tonight. This paper is packed with cute little kitty cats, ghosts, spider webs, and stripes on the back sides, so you get a lot of mileage out of one pack. I layered it over Smokey Slate and Basic Black cardstock and added a strip of black Iridescent Ribbon to finish it off.

For the sentiment, I used the Oh My Fright stamp set. You can stamp Boo to You, Happy Halloween, or even Trick or Treat, and if Halloween is not really your thing, you could stamp Happy Birthday instead and this card works for anyone on your list. I will be using this same bundle, dies included, when I release my Halloween class, so if you love this stamp set, keep an eye out for that.

All Aflutter Card with the Floral Spray 3D Embossing Folder

This card came from my friend Ronda and I loved it so much I had to recreate it. It features the All Aflutter stamp set along with a newer punch that gives you a rectangle label with rounded corners, so that piece is already done for you in your kit. You will just need your own butterfly punch to cut out the little Aflutter butterflies.

The real star of this card is the Floral Spray 3D embossing folder. This was actually my first time using it, and when I embossed it onto two tone cardstock in Basic Black. It has this giant flower that comes out so dimensional and pretty, it almost looks too good to cut down. If you do not have this embossing folder yet, add it to your cart, it is one of my new favorites.

Prayers and Promises Card with Bloom Boutique Specialty Paper

I have a lot of people in my life walking through hard things right now, so I pulled out the Prayers and Promises stamp set for this one. The sentiment reads Keeping you in my thoughts, holding you in my heart, and remembering you in my prayers, but this set also has smaller sentiments so you can use it inside and out, or swap it for a birthday or thinking of you message instead.

For the designer paper, I used the Bloom Boutique specialty paper, which was sold out for a while and is finally back in stock. One side has this gorgeous gold shimmer and the other is more subtle, in shades like Hydrangea Hue and Golden Glow. I embossed a strip of Basic White cardstock with my plaid embossing folder for a little extra texture, then finished the flower with a die cut oval from the Scalloped Blooms dies and a little gold circle center.

Framed Violets Card with Violet Dreams Specialty Paper

Our last card is for all my purple fans. This one uses the Framed Violets bundle, dies and all, so my helpers will die cut the stem, leaves, and three little purple flowers for me ahead of time, which means all you need to finish this card is a sentiment stamp.

I paired the die cuts with the Violet Dreams specialty paper, which is the gorgeous paper that came in our recent Summer retreat kit. It is full of beautiful purples and that periwinkle Hydrangea Hue color, plus a couple of sheets of laser cut flowers that I have already used so many times. I stamped I Appreciate You from the Framed Violets stamp set, popped it up with dimensionals, and added a few purple rhinestones to the center of the flowers for a little sparkle. You can color your rhinestones any color you like with a Stampin Blend or a permanent marker to match your own paper.

This paper was sold out for a while and I am so glad it is back. One side has a beautiful gold shimmer and the other is more subtle, it really features our ink colors well.

Framed Violets Bundle (Item #168194)
I love this bundle because of that oval in the dies, I have been wanting an oval like that since we lost our last set of stitched shapes. We die cut the flowers, stem, and leaves for you so all you need is a sentiment stamp.

Violet Dreams Specialty Designer Series Paper (Item #168186)
This is the gorgeous paper from our overnight retreat kit, full of beautiful purples and that periwinkle Hydrangea Hue color, plus laser cut flower sheets that I keep reaching for.
