If you need a few handmade cards ready for Christmas, fall, and that next birthday on your list, these four cards cover all of it. They come from my in-person card class, and each one is sweet and simple to put together.

Christmas Crew Snowman Card With Stampin’ Blends
This little snowman was a favorite at my in-person class. A few people even bought the Christmas Crew Bundle right after they made him! The bundle is around $44, and it has a bear, a reindeer, candy canes, a cup of cocoa, little trees, and sentiments like Fa La La and Ho Ho Ho.
I started with a Basic White layer run through an embossing folder with swirls, stars, and starbursts. You can use any embossing folder you have, a plaid or a snowflake would be cute too. I stamped the snowman in Memento black ink, die cut him, and colored him with Stampin’ Blends: light Pumpkin Pie for the nose, Real Red for the hat band and scarf, light Basic Black for the top of the hat, and dark Crumb Cake for his arms and sign. A little light Pool Party around the edges and some Wink of Stella give him a frosty sparkle.
He’s popped up on a Christmas Cheer die cut with dimensionals, and the two trees are die cut from the bundle in Peaceful Pine and tucked in behind him. I added a little Peaceful Pine shimmer paint to the trees, but that part is totally optional. Inside his sign I stamped “Sending holly jolly wishes.”
Home for Christmas Gingerbread Card With Scalloped Christmas Cheer
This one uses the Home for Christmas Bundle ($51.25), the same bundle from my flash class. I stamped the gingerbread man and the Christmas tree, then cut them out with the coordinating dies. I only used three ink colors: Poppy Parade, Pecan Pie, and Peaceful Pine.
The card base is Thick Basic White with Poppy Parade and the holly designer paper. I was going to use the other side of the paper, but the holly looked so festive and ties in the green. The tag comes from the bundle too, and I popped it up with dimensionals and tied a little knot of Peaceful Pine ribbon at a slight angle, held on with a mini glue dot.
For the sentiment, I used “Sending Christmas cheer” from the Scalloped Christmas Cheer stamp set, but you can use any sentiment you like. A couple of little peppermint dots finish it off, one at the top of the tree and one on the side.
Fall Thank You Card With the Thanks and Giving Stamp Set
If you’re not quite ready for Christmas yet, this fall card is for you. It has the prettiest sunflower designer paper and a Secret Sea layer. I ran a piece through the Softly Woven embossing folder, which just came back in stock, and the stitched label is from the Festive Frame Dies.
The sentiment, “There is always something to be thankful for,” is from the Thanks & Giving stamp set ($20), stamped in Secret Sea. Inside, you could write Happy Thanksgiving or just tell someone you’re grateful for them. This stamp set is also part of my Fall Retreat, so if you get that add-on class, it comes with the set.
I finished it with a gold mesh ribbon bow and a few metallic gems. Everyone at class asked how I tie my bows, so I showed it on the live. I make one bunny ear, then a second one, hold them in the middle, wrap around my thumb, and pull through the center. It makes the bow lay a little flatter on the card.
Nature’s Symphony Leaf Birthday Card
A few people told me this was their favorite, and I’m so glad because I wanted one card that wasn’t seasonal. It uses the big leafy stamp from the Nature’s Symphony stamp set ($19) in Secret Sea on a Secret Sea card base. I stamped the leaf in two opposite corners and once more on the inside.
This is a large stamp, so it’s a great time to use a stamp positioning tool if you have one. The “Happy birthday” inside is from the Scalloped Blooms stamp set, and the little label and “Especially for you” sentiment are from the Box of Joy. If you want more room to write, just stamp your leaf a little lower.
I wrapped Secret Sea ribbon around the middle and tied it in a knot on the side. I left off gems and dots on purpose so it can work as a masculine card, but you can absolutely add some sparkle. You could also use any leaf stamp you already have.
