4 Easy All Occasion Cards Using Stampin’ Up! Sunset Coast, Wild Bunch, and Sending Salutations

July 1, 2026 By Michelle

If you need a handful of pretty all occasion cards on hand for whatever life brings your way, this week’s live replay is for you. I made four brand new cards straight from my in-person card class, and every single one is designed so you can swap the sentiment and use it for any occasion.

Watch the full replay above to follow along step by step, or keep reading for a look at everything we made.

Stampin’ Up! Products Used in This Video

Sunset Coast Bundle (Item #167781)
I am hoping to feature this bundle in card club very soon. It has the most amazing dies, a little sailboat, sun, and water scene.

Everyday Arches Dies (Item #164629)
I used this to stamp the water background twice for a layered, watery look. It is such a versatile die set for scenes like this.

Forever Florals Stamp Set (Item #167440)
I love this set for the sentiments alone. The “thinking of you” is so pretty and works for so many occasions.

Extraordinary Life Dies (Item #167718)
These come as part of a bundle with a coordinating stamp set, but I love using just the dies on their own for a more eclectic, generic card like this one.

Wild Bunch Stamp Set (Item #167987)
This is one of my favorite animal sets I have ever used, and the Highland Cow might be my favorite image in it. It already sold out!

Sending Salutations Stamp Set (Item #167857)
This set is only twenty dollars and it is packed with beautiful sentiments. No images needed, the words do all the work.

Everyday Essentials Mix and Match Designer Series Paper (Item #167702)
I used this paper pack on all four cards tonight. I love it so much I keep reaching for it again and again.

Sailboat Gatefold Card with the Sunset Coast Bundle

For the first card, I scored a Darling Duckling base at two and an eighth inches on each side to create a little gatefold. I used a piece of Darling Duckling Two-Toned Cardstock, ran it through a swirly embossing folder (this one is on the Last Chance List and on sale right now), and then took a sanding block over the raised areas to expose the white core underneath. It gives the paper such a pretty, distressed look.

From the Everyday Arches Dies, I stamped a water background twice, once with fresh ink and once without reinking, so the second layer comes out lighter for a little depth. Then I stamped a sun with Darling Duckling ink and a sailboat on scrap paper before die cutting it out. For the sentiment, I used white embossing powder over Versamark on a strip of Misty Moonlight, but you can use any sentiment you like here. That is what makes this card so versatile. I used a congratulations sentiment, but this would be beautiful for an anniversary, a retirement, or really anything you need.

I finished it off with a few gems for sparkle. If you are a card club member, you will get sequins in your kit that work just as well.

Thinking of You Card with Forever Florals and Extraordinary Life Dies

This one is a little more eclectic. I used the Forever Florals stamp set for the “thinking of you” sentiment, and pulled a little tab, a heart, and a notebook paper die from the Extraordinary Life Dies. These dies come in a bundle with their own coordinating stamp set, but I wanted something more generic for this card, so I paired them with Forever Florals instead.

I stamped little Misty Moonlight dots to distress the paper, then layered pieces from the Everyday Essentials Designer Series Paper pack, including a soft pink piece that looks almost like notebook paper. I added the little Darling Duckling tab along one edge, looped linen thread behind the heart die cut for texture, and popped everything up with dimensionals. A few basic rhinestones finished it off. This card feels so different from my usual style, and I love how it turned out.

Highland Cow Card with the Wild Bunch Stamp Set

This one is the most fun of the four, and it opens up like a little scene. I started with a quarter sheet of Crumb Cake cardstock for the base, then added a torn strip of Mossy Meadow cardstock along the bottom of a Crumb Cake circle for a grassy look. No need to tear it perfectly straight, since that is what makes it look like real grass.

I stamped the Highland Cow from the Wild Bunch stamp set in Memento black ink onto scrap paper, then colored it with Crumb Cake markers, light for the horns and snout, dark for the shaggy fur. Since this particular image does not have a coordinating die, I fussy cut it out by hand. I stamped a sentiment strip (I used “Hi Friend,” but birthday or any greeting works just as well), popped the cow up with dimensionals, and added a linen thread bow with a few Crumb Cake Pearls of Beauty.

The Wild Bunch stamp set already sold out once, so if you have it, hang onto it. A new floral stamp set with sentiments is coming as next month’s Product of the Month, and I cannot wait to share it.

Quick Sending Salutations Card

The last card comes together fast and uses one of my favorite patterns from the Everyday Essentials Designer Series Paper pack, the one with the little pink and yellow flowers on the front and polka dots on the back. I folded the base in half, layered on Misty Moonlight and the floral paper, and added a strip of pink to hide any little seams if the layers do not line up perfectly straight.

For the sentiment, I used the Sending Salutations stamp set, which is just twenty dollars and is entirely word-based sentiments, no images needed. I stamped the birthday greeting in Misty Moonlight, popped it up with dimensionals, and a couple of rhinestones. Simple, sweet, and so pretty.
