If you need a handful of pretty all occasion cards on hand for whatever the season brings, this week’s live replay is for you. I made four brand new cards, and every single one is built around the Simply Leaves Bundle, so you get four totally different looks out of just one stamp set and punch.
Watch the full replay above to follow along step by step, or keep reading for a look at everything we made.
How to Make a Layered Leaf Wreath Card with the Simply Leaves Bundle
For the first card, I started with Crumb Cake, Pretty Peacock, Pool Party, and Basic White cardstock. I used a water painter with pool party ink to add some speckled texture to the background so it wasn’t so plain and flat. Then I stamped the sentiment, I’m so grateful for your kindness, in Pretty Peacock.
From there I punched leaves in three different colors, the polka dot leaf in Pretty Peacock, a little dotted leaf in Crumb Cake, and a leaf in Pool Party. I layered all of those leaves together and popped them up with dimensionals, then finished it off with a linen thread double bow and a couple of Sunset Sparkle Sequins.
How to Turn the Leaf Punch Into a Flower (My Favorite of the Four)
This one might be my favorite. I started with a thick white card base and a Golden Glow background embossed in a 3D plaid folder, with a one inch Pecan Pie circle layered on top. I stamped the sentiment, a little something to say hello.
Then I stamped five leaves in Golden Glow and two in Mossy Meadow, fussy cut them, and arranged them like flower petals around a punched center piece. I popped everything up with dimensionals and finished with a few Golden Glow In Color dots. I love how using the leaf punch this way turns it into something that doesn’t look like a leaf card at all.
How to Make a Fall Leaf Card with the Seasonal Cheer Mini Embossing Folders
This card uses Thick White, Crushed Curry, and Coastal Cabana cardstock. I ran a piece of Coastal Cabana cardstock through the leaf folder from the Seasonal Cheer Mini Embossing Folders for the background texture. That set actually comes with three folders, leaves, bats, and candy canes, so it will take you all the way from fall through Christmas.
I punched two leaves in Crushed Curry and one in Pumpkin Pie Cardstock and stamped the sentiment, thinking of you often, in Coastal Cabana ink. If you’re stamping with this set, I definitely recommend using a foam mat underneath your card stock. These leaf images are nice and solid, and since they’re photopolymer, they need a little extra cushion to stamp cleanly. I popped everything up with dimensionals and finished with either pearlized faceted gems or orange Sunset Sparkle Sequins, both look really pretty here.
How to Make a Quick Thanks Card with Simply Leaves
This last card is close to one we made in card class yesterday, just with a different color story. I used Pool Party, Cajun Craze, and Basic White cardstock, and added a little splatter with my Pool Party Blends marker so the background wasn’t too plain. I stamped one leaf in Crushed Curry and another in Cajun Craze, then punched a leaf in Pool Party for the top layer.
Since I was running low on linen thread, I did a single bow instead of a double this time, which honestly looks pretty cute with that little swirl at the end of the roll. I finished it off with a Sunset Sparkle Sequin in that coppery Cajun shade.

Stampin’ Up! Products Used in This Video
Simply Leaves Bundle (Item #168165)
I used every single stamp in this set across these four cards. The coordinating punch is what makes the leaves come out so clean and consistent every time.
Seasonal Cheer Mini Embossing Folders (Item #168221)
This set has three folders, leaves, bats, and candy canes, so it carries you all the way from fall through Christmas. I used the leaf one tonight and I love the texture it gives.
Everyday Arches Dies (Item #164629)
I stamped this twice on my first card, once with fresh ink and once without reinking, to get a soft, watery background.
